Sent through the mail

I am going to place these three items in this horizontal position within 3 identical frames. I want to show that they are related, but that they are related within someones past of whom has remained anonymous to me. It's this factor that I want to develop this post into.

I thought of regenerating these items, above, within the sense of the person who sent them. I have decided to play around with the idea of interpreting this information into a portrait of the woman at the centre of these items.
With the use of the information I have collected, showing different feelings and emotions of the woman in question, I am hopefully going to be able to develop a photograph/ series of photographs that can show this metaphorical woman through my eyes.

Letter out of the blue

Unexpectedly I received a letter in the post. It was a hand written address so I knew that it had to be something from someone who knew my address, however when opening I discovered a poem of which I didn't at first really gauge who it was from.

Looking back now I can see how it belongs to the anonymous sender of one of my first 'stranger letters'.

I don't know why the person sent it to me but I like the fact that whoever it is, thought that it would be of some use to me and my project, which it is. I have almost a sense of frustration in that I don't know who the 'stranger' is in order to contact them and find out more about their story. The three items; letter, picture and poem work really well together and I am going to us this as a representation of my letter project.
